Mob wisdom: The word on the street

For the most part, the legendary mob bosses, foot soldiers, and capos that populated organized crime families weren't highly educated people. They came up hard on the streets, and the streets provided a wisdom no school taught.

No one may ever call them role models, and we make no excuses for the crime, violence and intimidation, but they sure had some good points to make.
